Spread the love

My Relationship Journal,

FOUNDATIONAL ISSUES TO BE DISCUSSED BEFORE MARRIAGE.
Part 1,

1. FAITH
Same faith must be established by both parties,

Your spiritual journey/walk is very paramount to the success of the home you both want to build. It is the foundation for a good home.

Hence, it is of great necessity for both parties to know each other’s spiritual stand and be on equal page.

2. DIRECTION / PURPOSE

Two people cannot walk together unless they agree.

The direction and purpose of both parties must compliment each other otherwise, there will be conflict of interest. This can cause unimaginable pain in any relationship.

3. RESOURCEFULNESS

I do not advice marriage done by faith i.e. marriage without concrete evidence of resourcefulness.

A man or woman that is always confused on what to do at every crossroad, will definitely be a disaster in marriage.

The ability to create solutions should be examined before marriage.

4. RESPONSIBLE

A man or woman who is not responsible before marriage may likely not change after marriage.

Both parties must be responsible for their actions and willing to take responsibility for each other.

5. ACCOUNTABLE TO AUTHORITY

Do not go into a commitment with someone who is not accountable to anyone.
There must be at least one person that each party is accountable to, this helps to keep each other in check.

6. DISCUSS INCOME

There has to be a sure way of generating income before the relationship is solidified by marriage.

Love is a good feeling but the reality of bills to pay can fizzle out any feeling of love, if not adequately attended to.

Both parties must discuss income and have good back up plans on ground.

My goal is to help you achieve marital success & sexual fulfilment in marriage.

Blessings Always!
