ACCORDING TO KENNETH COPELAND, JOY MAKES YOU A WINNER AGAIN AND AGAIN.
YOU CANNOT MASK YOUR JOY. JOY IS LIKE A VOLCANO ERUPTING INTO THANKSGIVING, PRAISE AND GRATITUDE.
WHEREVER JOY EXISTS, IT FLOWS OUT.
ALWAYS EXAMINE WHERE YOUR GRATITUDE IS COMING FROM, BECAUSE UNTIL IT COMES FROM THE HEART, IT WILL NOT COUNT WITH GOD.
DON’T PUSH YOUR EXPECTATIONS FOR 2021 TO NEXT YEAR OR TILL SHILOH.
WE ARE STILL IN OUR YEAR OF SUPERNATURAL TURNAROUND. ANYTHING CAN STILL TURN AND IT WILL TURN IN YOUR FAVOUR.
-Pastor (Mrs) Faith Oyedepo at CHoP
*Ingratitude, murmuring, complaining saps today of its joy.
*Our covenant access to real joy is a heart-seated gratitude. Not just mouth spoken.
Father, this morning, we stand in Your Presence to give You thanks. For these amazing testimonies, You are the Doer, take all the praise. We decree that these testimonies shall be permanent. Anyone tapping into any of these, let their own also be established. Take You for answered prayers today, both corporately and personally, we give You all the glory. Again this morning, we are gathered in Your presence. “All the people came unto Him early in the morning”, we have come to seek You, cause us to find You. Let none of us return the same way we have come. Change our story again and let Your name be glorified. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed.
ENGAGING THE POWER OF JOY AND REJOICING
‘Engaging the power of joy and rejoicing’ is our topic for this week all through our Covenant Hour of Prayer.
Say that after me, “engaging the power of joy and rejoicing.”
-From this moment forward, joy and rejoicing will become your companion.
We must understand in this journey of faith that there is tremendous power in joy and rejoicing. I have come to understand by walk with God that joy and rejoicing energizes the spirit man. That’s why one of the things that the enemy tries to steal from us as believers, which we must be conscious of, more than ever before, the enemy tries to steal our joy.
-From this season forward, no matter where you find yourself in life, the devil will never succeed in stealing your joy any longer.
One of the things he tries to steal from you and I is our joy. No wonder Jesus Christ understands this truth in depth and the Bible tells us, “Jesus Christ at that time, rejoiced in the spirit” – Luke 10:21. He was drawing power, He was drawing energy, He was receiving succor. No wonder, He did not only overcome, His name is Overcomer.
Joy and rejoicing releases tremendous power to the believer.
-Therefore, from this season forward, no devil shall be able to tamper with your joy and rejoicing any longer.
Joy and rejoicing, when we engage in it provokes divine intervention and it delivers our desired breakthroughs.
How many of us still desire breakthroughs from God before the end of this year? Wave your hands to the Lord.
-It shall be delivered in practical terms in Jesus name.
A heart seated gratitude is our covenant access, however, to real joy. Our covenant access to real joy is a heart-seated gratitude.
Not just mouth spoken but heart seated. It is something to say, “Father, I thank You; Father, I am grateful”, but where is it coming from? Is it from the heart? Because until it comes from the heart, it can not be heard in Heaven. Only the gratitude that comes from the heart is heard in Heaven.
“Lay it to heart.” Beat your chest this way, say, “the heart.” Say it again, “the heart.” One more time, “the heart.” Lay it to heart, not just saying it with the mouth. Yes, it is important to say with the mouth but it must begin from the heart. Therefore, we must understand that a heart seated gratitude is our covenant access to real joy.
You want to enjoy more joy in your life, therefore what do you do? Heart seated gratitude, heart rooted gratitude: “Father, I thank You; Father, I thank You; Thank You Jesus; Thank You Father”, emanating, oozing from the heart.
Lift your hands to God, say, “Father, I thank thee!! My Father, I thank thee.”
Jesus rejoiced in the spirit and when He rejoiced in the spirit, He thanked God with the words of His mouth. If you and I truly rejoice in the spirit and we have joy and rejoicing, it will flow out through our mouth in praise and gratitude to God.
I have come to discover that joy cannot be covered. If you and I truly rejoice in the spirit and we have joy and rejoicing, it will flow out through our mouth in praise and gratitude to God.
I have come to discover that joy cannot be covered, it cannot be masked. It is like a volcano erupting into thanksgiving, praise, into gratitude. You cannot cover it. Wherever it exists, it will flow out.
-From this day forward, joy and rejoicing will continue to flow out, in every department of your life in Jesus name.
Also we must understand that gratitude from the heart is what counts the most with God. If you say gratitude to a man, he doesn’t have access to your heart. So he may accept not knowing you meant the exact opposite. But the heart of man lays bare before God. Nothing is hidden to Him – Proverbs 16:3 (Hebrews 4:13)
When we say we give gratitude, we must always examine where it is coming from, because until it comes from the heart, it will not count with God.
-Your dancing, your rejoicing, your singing, your clapping, your praising, your words of gratitude shall no longer be in vain, in Jesus name.
However, for it not to be in vain, it must always emanate from the heart.
Isaiah 29:13 – When you honour God with your lips, always check your heart. If you see your heart straying at any point in time, call it back to order.
It is yours, your heart belongs to you. Pause a little bit and call yourself back to order, so that our praises and thanksgiving unto God shall be not be in vain.
1 Samuel 16:7 – “…the Lord looketh on the heart.”
So look into your heart because it is only the gratitude that comes from the heart, that comes the most with God.
-Your gratitude and my gratitude will count with God, much more than ever before from this moment in Jesus name.
Very important, as we round up, we must beware of complaining.
Why? It provokes the anger of God and robs us of His blessings among other things.
-None of us will provoke God’s anger in our direction anymore.
Beware of complaining. Turn to your neighbour, tell him or her, “beware of complaining.”
You know among other things, we have heard it to us over and again that complaining complicates matters. Now the year is about rounding up, we are in the 11th month of the year, the 11th hour of the day.
More often than not, the enemy will always come around to discourage and whisper, “if God wants to do it, He would have done it by now. You can push that over till next year or wait till Shiloh.”
Tell the devil: No, now is my time. Now is my time.
When? Now. We are still in our Year of Supernatural Turnaround.
Anything can still turn and it will turn in your favour.
-It will turn in your favour.
Say with me, “It will turn in my favour.”
Refuse to give up because quitters don’t win and winners are people who refuse to quit. Don’t let the enemy weaken your faith. Straighten your legs and your heart in gratitude to the Almighty God because all that God has ordained for you and I before the end of this year shall be practically delivered.
I have come to discover that among other things, ingratitude, murmuring, complaining saps today of its joy. So give no room to the enemy.
The people complained, God heard it: whether the complain is made in public or in secret, everything lays bare before God.
God heard, His anger was kindled and His fire burnt in the camp of the people.
Therefore, no more complaining, no more grumbling, no more murmuring, no more pointing accusing finger at God or at any man. Rather it shall be joy, rejoicing, gratitude to the Almighty God and by so doing, we shall lay hold of all that God has in store for us this year in Jesus name.
He continued to rejoice. He continued to give glory unto God, until the promise was delivered.
-The promise of God concerning your life this year shall be practically delivered.
Remember the testimonies we heard this morning, especially the second Testifier. Even after the miracle was delivered, the woman started spotting, but they refused to give up. They stood firm on the Word of God and their miracle baby boy was delivered.
-There is a miracle into your hands before Shiloh this year.
-It will reach you through your joy and rejoicing.
It was Kenneth Copeland that said and I love this, he said, “Joy makes you a winner again and again.”
-That is you. You will remain a winner again and again, in every area of life, as you engage the power of joy and rejoicing.
Prayers: Receive grace to continue to engage the power of joy and rejoicing. No devil shall be allowed to rob you of your joy any longer. Right now, in the spirit, speak unto God, as you receive that grace to continue to rejoice in the spirit. Rejoicing in the spirit.
