ANOINTING CAN BE TRANSFERRED BY CONDUCTION (DIRECT LAYING OF HANDS)
ANOINTING CAN BE TRANSFERRED BY CONVENTION (TRANSFERENCE OF ANOINTING INTO MATERIALS)
– Pastor E A Adeboye
Anointing can be called Heavenly electricity and anointing behaves like heat. I’m just trying to teach you a little bit of physics, so heat can be transferred from one point to another in three ways, just like electricity.
1) The first way anointing can therefore move from the anointer to the anointed is by a process called CONDUCTION, if we are using scientific terms. It simply means by direct contact. Mark 1:40-45. When a leper came to the Lord Jesus Christ and said I know you can make me clean, Jesus touched him and the anointing to kill; killed leprosy and the man was cleanser. John 9:1-7. This is a very beautiful one, there was a man who was born blind, the Bible says Jesus spat on the ground and made some mid out of it and anointed his eyes with the mud, putting the mud on his eyes, the Bible calls it anointing his eyes and of course you know the rest of the story, it wasn’t long after that the man began to see, he said I was blind but now I see, so anointing can be transferred by direct contact, hands laid on you.
2) Anointing can be transferred by CONVECTION, in other words, anointing can be transferred into a material and then the material can now come to you carrying the anointing, for example. 2nd Kings 2:9-15. Elisha got the anointing Elijah when he grabbed the mantle that fell from him. Acts 19:11-13. The Bible tells us that God perform special miracles by the hand of Paul because from his body, apron and handkerchief were taken to those who were sick and they were healed and the demons left those who were possessed, the apron and handkerchief carried anointing from Paul to where the anointing was needed, that is another way of transferring anointing, from something that has come in contact with the anointer to the one who needs to be anointed.
