ANOINTING IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE TO LEARNING.
ANOINTING IS ONLY A FACILITATOR TO LEARNING.
ONLY THOSE WHO SIT TIGHT TO LEARN WILL RISE HIGH TO LEAD.
THERE IS A GLORY PREPARED FOR EVERY MINISTER AND EVERY MINISTRY, BUT LET GOD BUILD YOU UP BY SITTING DOWN, BY LEARNING SO YOU CAN RISE TO SHINE.
-Bishop David Abioye,
Welcome Charge, Afternoon Session, Day Two
Church Growth Conference, 2022
Prayers: Let’s thank Him consciously, let’s thank Him desperately for the goodness of the Lord that He has extended to us, for light, for insight, changing our levels, changing our position,
repositioning us to take full charge of the assignment He has given to us as individuals.
Thank You mighty Father, in Jesus wonderful name we have given thanks.
May I joyfully on the behalf of God’s servant, the President of David Oyedepo Ministries International welcome each and every one of us to this afternoon session, 2nd day of this Church Growth
There is no doubt God has been loading us with grace and glory.
Everything about God comes by process.
God’s appearance is not what we wait for, but what we prepare for. We are not waiting for God, God is waiting for us.
What is He waiting for us for? To be built up.
God’s glory is suspended until the human factor is taken care of. Our duty is to prepare and among other areas where we prepare is preparing by His Word.
As anointed as Jesus was, He prepared for His assignment.
How? They found Him seated among doctors and lawyers. Anointing is not a substitute to learning. Anointing is only a facilitator to learning. Only those who sit tight to learn will rise high to lead.
I know what God brought us here for in this Conference, is to process us to become the products that He looks forward to us to become.
No product emerges without passing through the process.
No matter how eager the market is to receive the product, it must go through the process.
I welcome you therefore, this afternoon, to the processing factory where God’s Word will be taking us through, getting us prepared; every ministry is destined for glory and that glory will emerge.
Jesus said, “give Me the glory You have prepared for Me.”
There is a glory prepared for every minister and every ministry, but let Him build you up by sitting down, by learning so you can rise to shine.
A quick work is about to be done this afternoon, no ceremony of any kind, we are about to receive the Word of God. I want you to pray one prayer.
Prayer: Father, prepare me by Your Word and do so desperately. Do so like you want it as early as yesterday. Pray as one who is already behind schedule.
Speak to yourself right now: my eyes, you must see what God is showing now; my ears, you must hear what God is saying now; my heart, you must open up.
Lord, in the name of Jesus, every slowness of understanding taken away from me, in the name of Jesus. I am ready.
Give glory to God, thank Him for hearing your prayers, for answering your prayer, to Him be the glory forever
