Lift your hands to Heaven and let’s give glory to God tonight. Let’s give praise to Him and celebrate Him from the depths of our hearts; give Him the glory, give Him the honour, give Him the adoration.

Thank Him for the blessing of being in His presence on this first day of the last month of this glorious year. God has been faithful. Give Him the praise; celebrate Him from the depth of your heart. He is worthy of all the praise and all the glory.

Father, we have come tonight to give You praise. We have come tonight to give glory to You. We have come tonight to give honour to You. We have come tonight to give adoration unto Your holy name. You are worthy of all praise. You are worthy of all glory. You are worthy of all honour. Thank Him for the blessing of seeing the last Midweek Service before Shiloh; this is the doing of the Lord. It is marvelous in our eyes. Lord, we give You the praise.

Right now, begin to ask the Lord to speak to you this evening:
“Lord, I’ve come here for an encounter with You. I’ve come here to be transformed by You. I’ve come here to be changed by You. Let Your Word come forth and transform me. Thank You mighty God, in Jesus precious name we have prayed.

Our Father tonight we thank You and give You praise for the blessing of being in Your presence. Thank You for hearing and answering all of our prayers. Now Lord, our eyes are on You tonight, we ask that by Your word, You will speak to each one of us.

Let every one of our lives be changed again. We give You the praise and the glory for it, in Jesus precious name we have prayed.

Shiloh 2021…
Response: More Than a Conqueror
More Than a Conqueror…
Response: Shiloh 2021.
So shall be your experience at Shiloh in the name of Jesus.

Tonight, we are going to be exploring this subject:

According to God’s word, God is a God of times and seasons (Ecclesiastes 3:1). As far as God is concerned, He connects seasons to things and He connects time to purposes.

What that means is that, every time has a purpose with God. We have come into this season and into this time and God makes it clear that His purposes are declared ahead (Isaiah 42:9).

So, God is in the habit of organizing His purposes into times and declaring the purpose ahead of time. What that means is that, when God said concerning Shiloh 2021, “More than a Conqueror”, He was not just giving a title.

He was declaring a purpose.

God’s intention is everyone participant of Shiloh must emerge as more than a conqueror. If somebody here is emerging as a “more than a conqueror”, shout a loud Amen.

So, the purpose of God for Shiloh 2021 is to make you more than a conqueror. But for that purpose to be actualized, there is a preparatory force that is required and that force is the force of expectation (Proverbs 23:18).

So, as far as God is concerned, your expectation determines the manifestation that you’ll experience.

That is why God’s servant, our Father said over the years that expectation is the mother of all manifestation. I’ll like you to understand that God has determined to visit at Shiloh, to descend at Shiloh and to be unveiled at Shiloh.

He has determined to manifest at Shiloh but your expectation is what determines your personal experience.

The gathering of Shiloh may be corporate but the experience of Shiloh is always personal and what determines your experience at any moment of God’s purpose is your expectation.
– I pray that for each one of us tonight, may your expectation be triggered afresh!

Hebrews 11:1-3
From this scripture it is clear that faith is the substance of things hoped for or things expected. In other words, your expectation is the pace setter when it comes to your experience in any divine visitation. When a man or woman is expectation barren, their experience will produce no result. So, expectation is a vital necessity.

When we look at faith, we can describe faith in three ways from that scripture:
1. Faith is word substantiated expectation (Proverbs 24:13-14). So, faith is not just expectation but expectation that is substantiated from the Word (Romans 10:17). Faith is simply expectation that has its structure built on the Word of God.

Romans 4:17-21
When you talk about faith, you are talking about expectation that has drawn its fuel or its structure from the Word of God. It is expectation that is structured on the Word of God.

Faith or expectation that will answer is not a wish, it is something that must be drawn from the Word of God (Isaiah 12:3). Salvation is loaded with blessings but the blessings come out of the waters which is the Word.

Until you draw from the Word, your expectation will not produce result. It means therefore, that when it comes to the delivery of anyone’s expectation, it must be based on the Word and when it is based on the Word, it has graduated to what we call faith. So, faith is simply Word substantiated expectation.

This is very important because according to scripture, it means that wherever we see the word “Faith”, we can substitute it with the word “Expectation” and when we do that, we begin to see the power of expectation in determining our delivery.

God’s word tells us in four different passages:
Romans 1:17, Hebrews 10:38, Galatians 3:11 and Habakkuk 2:4 – “the just shall live by faith”. Four different portions of the scripture, “the just shall live by faith”.

That means, if we say that the Word faith can be substituted with Expectation, is that the just shall live by his word substantiated expectation. What becomes of any believer’s life is determined by the expectation that that individual draws from the Word.

It means that your life cannot rise beyond your expectation. Your experience cannot exceed the boundary of your expectation (Genesis 13:14-15). The ability of God is inexhaustible but the expectation of man determines the limit of the manifestation of God in his direction (Ephesians 3:20).

God can do anything; God can do everything but God will only do what you expect. Your expectation determines the limit of God’s manifestation.

That is why, to be at the place where God is appearing with a heart that lacks expectation is to depart the place the way that you came.
– I pray that for every one of us, Shiloh this year will be a mountain of supernatural deliveries.

So, faith can be described as Word substantiated expectation.

2. Faith can be described as Word-based expectation. What that means is that, the expectation is standing absolutely on the Word of God (Psalm 119:89). What does it mean for the Word to be settled?

The Word is unshakable. “Forever oh Lord, thy word is settled.” When your expectation is built on the Word of God, your expectation is unshakable; your life becomes unshakable.

When we talk about faith, it is talking about expectation that has foundation, built upon the Word of God, making it unshakable.

When you find an individual whose expectation is unshakable, you have found an individual whose manifestation is unstoppable. When your expectation becomes unshakable, your manifestation is automatically unstoppable.

This is one of the vital difference makers at the place of encounter. There are so many individuals who come to the mountain of encounter but they are barren of expectation and you find them just slipped away and the moment comes and goes and their stories remain the same.

We heard a testimony that was read to us at the Covenant Hour of Prayer yesterday and this individual said that, she has been suffering from a siege of death and suddenly (this was last year), got to November and could not hear or speak, deaf and dumb on the spot.

You know that is not how the person was, just got to November and became deaf and dumb. But then, she came to Shiloh with expectation in her heart that God will visit her.

She came the first day, the second day; expectation was unshaken and by the third day; the ear opened, the tongue loosed, the siege of death over – Instantly. Why? Expectation refused to be shaken.

When your expectation is unshakable, your manifestation is unstoppable. That is why it is important for you not just to carry expectation but to carry a settled expectation. An expectation that is settled on the basis of the Word of God.

I’ll like you to understand that there is no situation that is difficult before God. Please hear this: “God does not know difficulty”. Human complexities are divine simplicities. God does not know difficulty. You must understand that what a child in primary school will see on an exam paper and start crying, a professor will look at it and start smiling.

It is the same problem but a different eye looking at it. The things that you look at as hard, God looks at as small. You must understand that when you are dealing with God, you are not dealing with man. Stop reducing God to man.

One of the things that continues to inspire my understanding of how God sees things is, if you are on the ground in an aircraft, everything you look at looks human size but when the aircraft takes off, suddenly the things on the ground have not changed size but you have changed sight.

So, suddenly, what was big on the ground becomes small in your eyes because you are looking at it from the viewpoint of the top. If you can see your challenges the way God sees it, you will see that your challenge is not a challenge. A mighty tower on the earth is a small dot from the sky.

If you can see your challenge the way God sees it, you will discover that your challenge is not a challenge. Never reduce God to man. The Bible says, “forever oh Lord, thy word is settled”. If He said it, it is settled. That is why all you need to do is position yourself with expectation that is backed with the Word of God.
– You are getting set to see a visitation and the manifestation in the order that you have never experienced before. That will be your own testimony at Shiloh this year!
