Spread the love

THEY SAY YOU ARE DAFT AND BRAINWASHED WHEN YOU ARE PRAISING GOD. THEY DID THE SAME TO ABRAHAM WHEN HE WAS NAMED FATHER OF MANY NATIONS WITHOUT A SON.

FILL YOUR WATERPOTS WITH PRAISE. DON’T MIND THOSE WHO ARE MOCKING YOU, GOD IS OUT TO MAKE YOU.

IF YOU HAVE BEEN MURMURING ABOUT ANYTHING BEFORE GOD, ASK FOR HIS FORGIVENESS.
THERE IS NO SIN GOD CANNOT FORGIVE AND THERE IS NONE HE WILL FORGIVE WITHOUT YOU ASKING FOR HIS FORGIVENESS.

YOUR REASONS FOR MURMURING OR COMPLAINING MAY LOOK AUTHENTIC, BUT THE SCRIPTURES CANNOT BE BROKEN.

PAUL AND SILAS WERE MEANT TO BE SLAIN BUT WERE DIGNIFIED WHEN GOD STEPPED IN VIA THEIR PRAISE. THEY WERE CALLED SIRS.

A ‘SIR’(KNIGHT) IS THE EPITOME OF CHIEFTAINCY TITLE IN THE ANGLICAN SYSTEM. YOU WORK HARD TOWARDS BECOMING ONE. HOWERVER, PAUL AND SILAS WERE ADDRESSED AS SIRS THROUGH PRAISE.
– Bishop David Oyedepo
Midweek Communion Service, Canaanland.

Murmuring is costly, complaining can be devastating.
The praise that will silence your enemies is not a gentle man’s praise.

The knowledge of the truth is the key to every of our inheritance in Christ. Every provision made in redemption is only accessible through the knowledge of the truth.
He has given all things that make for life and godliness but they can only be delivered through the knowledge of Him who has called us to glory and virtue – 2 Peter 1:3
There is power in spiritual understanding. It sets free, it liberates, it elevates, it engenders breakthrough of all kinds.

Prayer: Lord, open my eyes tonight to behold wondrous things out of thy law. Please pray. That was a prayer that David prayed and he was said to be smarter than angels. Ask God for the same insight tonight. Thank You Jesus. In Jesus precious name.

Whatever is not revealed cannot be accessed – Deuteronomy 29:29
-Tonight, God will grant each of us access to a new realm of enjoying His presence perpetually in the name of Jesus Christ.

Thank You Father. Thank You for what You are doing with us since the Pre Shiloh Encounter Services began. Thank You for testimonies pouring in on daily basis, receive our thanks in the name of Jesus. Thank You for the wonder of Your presence we are experiencing, receive our thanks in the name of Jesus and so shall it be, in Jesus precious name.

ENGAGING THE WONDERS OF PRAISE
This is the last in the series of this Midweek Services.
Exodus 15:11 – Who is like thee O Lord, glorious in holiness, doing fearful things in praises, awesome things in praises. Whatever can’t stop the way against God can’t stop the way against praise, because God indwells the praises of His people – Psalm 22:3.

No gate can ever be shut against God, so no gate can be shut against an acceptable praising believer, whose praises are not noises in the ears of God.

Whatever can’t stop the way against God, can’t stop the way against acceptable praise. Acceptable praise!
Isaiah 29:13
“Okay, God, thank You. O Lord, I praise You, but You know all the things around me” – That doesn’t sell for anything. Murmuring as you praise does not provide access to anything, it only destroys.
Praising without being merry at heart is not acceptable – James 5:13
So not all praises are acceptable to God. He said, “take away the noise of your songs from my ears.” Praises that become nuisance in the ears of God, they don’t deliver anything. Murmuring and praising; complaining and praising don’t sell. Whatever can’t stop the way against God can’t stop the way against acceptable praise.
-May our praises become and remain acceptable from this day forward.

Sustainable praise anchors on the Word – Psalm 56:4, 10
When our praise life anchors on the Word, it becomes supernaturally sustainable, because the Word is stable, the Word is permanent. It lives and abides forever. We are not praising for what He has done, we are praising for who He is, we are praising Him for the integrity of His Word thereby provoking Him to confirm them in our lives.
Whatever He tells you to do, do it – John 2:5
Things look dry: let the people who desire a change praise the Lord – Psalm 67:5-7
You want a change of story? Tune into praise.
Things look dry around your life: Tune into praise.
You lack wine, there is no joy that is real: Tune into praise.
Whatever He tells you to do, do it and then you gain access to what He has promised – John 2:5

1 Corinthians 1:18
“How can I be praising God with all these things around my life? No, I am not. I can’t pretend. God has not treated me well, I can’t pretend. I must say it.”
I wish you know what you are saying: you are saying, “leave me the way I am. I am taking over from You. I have waited for You to effect a change, I can’t see the change. So stay on your own, I stay on my own.” That can be very frustrating and devastating. You can’t handle your affairs.

You and I are too small to handle our affairs. You can’t sustain yourself to wake up when you sleep. You can’t defend yourself against the arrows of the enemy that fly by day, the pestilence that moves at noon day. You can’t!
I wish people who complain know what they are saying: They are saying, “God, hands off. I think I can handle this!”
-Somebody’s life just opened up now.
-Whatever He tells you to do, do it!
Habakkuk 3:17-19. He said for a change to occur, rejoice in the Lord, then He will step in and make your feet and my feet like hinds’ feet and He will make us to ride upon our high places.
Isaiah 55:8 – Anybody who appears or poses to be smarter than God is playing the fool. Whatever He tells you to do, do it and then you will see His hand.
-No one here shall miss his steps anymore, in the name of Jesus Christ.

Our line of thought tonight is as follows:
1. We can conquer the toughest battles of our lives through praise.
Say with me, “I can conquer the toughest battles of my life through praise” – Jeremiah 32:27.
What praise does is to provoke divine intervention. No battle on earth can be tougher than God.
Mark 10:27
What praise does is to provoke divine intervention of that God with whom all things are possible. The One that steps in and the everlasting gates lift up their heads as He enters.
The One that is never stranded at any time: “If You had been here, our brother would not have died.” He said, “stop that. I am, anytime I come, the resurrection and the life” – John 11:25. He stepped in after 4 days, the toughest of battles in Bible history and Lazarus came back to life, through the instrumentality of praise.
“Father, I thank You because You have heard Me” – John 11:41
🎶🎶 I thank You Lord, I thank You Lord. I thank You Jehovah Almighty. I thank You Lord, I thank You Lord, I thank You Jehovah Almighty 🎶🎶: Lazarus, come forth. He came forth – John 11:43
We can conquer the toughest battle of our lives through praise.

Somebody’s toughest battle in scriptures were won by praise. We saw the rendition of Psalm chapter 114, talking about the majesty of His presence and what that offers. Israel went out of Egypt, God was in the midst of them. God indwells in the midst of His people – Psalm 22:3
Psalm 114:3 – The sea saw them, it fled.
Psalm 114:1-7. Everything trembles at His presence. What troubles others trembles at His presence. So when we succeed in invoking His presence, troubles tremble at our instance.
How do you cross the Red Sea? Except the Almighty comes down. They carried His presence, the sea saw its Creator, “Sorry Sir”, clears the way, built up the depth so they walked straight before them, nobody was climbing or something; old and young.
The mountains just cleared the way, because there is no way to carry pregnant women to be climbing the mountain, or little children on your back. Everything levelled out for them.
We can conquer the toughest battle of our lives through the mystery of praise. what praise does is to invoke divine presence, provoke divine intervention and make the impossible happen in our lives.
-We are getting there!!

2 Chronicles 20:22 – “…they were smitten.” No arrow, they were just singing and praising and God stepped in and levelled out their toughest enemies.
Jehoshaphat said, “we have no power or might against this army that is come against us, neither know we what to do, but our eyes are on you” – 2 Chronicles 20:12
He said, “do you want me to step in? Now set yourself in praise and watch me in action. You will not need to fight in this battle. I will take it over – 2 Chronicles 20:17
We can win the toughest battles of our lives through praise.
-No one here shall be stranded anymore.

Complaining and murmuring is never the way forward. It always gets believers grounded and if allowed, destroyed. Complaining will stir the wrath of God. You don’t need that, I don’t need it. When God goes against a man, who can deliver him?
And the anger of God was kindled when the people complained – Numbers 11:11. He didn’t send them help, He became angry with them and He set fire up.
They murmured and they were destroyed of the destroyer – 1 Corinthians 10:10
Murmuring makes God takes off His hand from their affairs, the destroyer picks them up.
-That will not happen to any of us.

2. High praises will always deliver supernatural victory in every battle.
The walls of Jericho were impregnable walls. Even when it falls, it would still be a wall, so there was no access. Firmly shut. People built houses on the wall and God said, “Go round it. Shout, so they can know you are there.”
A shout of praise brought the walls down or the walls sank at the shout of praise – Joshua 6:20
-Whatever is blocking your access, no matter how tough, no matter how long it has been, at the shout of high praises, they will sink.
-Whatever may be blocking anyone’s access, generational curses, diabolical curses, the wickedness of the wicked, that won’t let you access God’s agenda for your life, with a shout of praise, not civilized praise, the kind of praise that David had, throwing himself up and down as the king of Israel.
God said, “let me see who is mocking him there? Shouted Micah down.”
The praise that will silence your enemies is not a gentle man’s praise.
“And David danced with all his might” – 2 Samuel 6:14
-Your long-awaited victory must be delivered in the few days remaining.

Psalm 149 – It talks about high praises, two-edged sword: the Word of God; to execute vengeance upon the heathen and punishment upon the people.
Psalm 149:6-9. This will answer for every child of God that knows how to deal with high praises. Praising God on the basis of His Word that we always provoke for confirmation through high praises.
-Somebody’s story is changing.

Psalm 47:1-5
He will deliver our inheritances to us in the midst of a great shout of praise.
“God is gone up with a shout”: That is, He rises up to the occasion with a shout. A shout of praise. He is saying, “I am here, I am here for you” – Psalm 47:5. That is what He is saying. He delivers our inheritance to us through a shout of praise.
-Whatever the enemy might be robbing anyone of us of shall be delivered tonight in the name of Jesus Christ.

3. Praise is a covenant trigger for our desired supernatural turnaround. He steps in and things turn in our favour.
When God steps in, things will always turn in our favour. When God steps into our affairs, things will always in our favour. When God steps in, things must turn.
Habakkuk 3:17-19
You look like a fool to everybody. These people are daft. They have brainwashed them.
🎶🎶 I will rejoice and be glad in Him. 🎶🎶
You can imagine what they were saying to Abraham when he was singing. He was strong in faith, glorifying God – Romans 4:20
🎶🎶 I will rejoice and be glad. 🎶🎶 They say, “What is happening?”
(Abraham’s response): My children are as the stars of heaven, much more than the sand that is by the seashore.
Then the Lord will rise to the occasion and make my feet like hinds’ feet and get me up, upon my high places, to silence my mockers – Habakkuk 3:19
-God is visiting you now.
Stop looking at what is happening. Look at what is written.
What must I do to invoke a change? Rejoice in the integrity of your God and the integrity of His Word. Do that consciously, do that heartily, let it go beyond the tip of your tongue and He will step in.
-God is talking to someone here.

4. Everything that clears the way for God, (I mentioned that earlier), clears the way for every acceptable praising believer. Not praising God in hypocrisy.
“Let’s be sincere, there is no way I can rejoice like this. They say we should praise God.”
Jeremiah 17:9-10
Let God find the right thing in your heart – Proverbs 4:23
The events on our outside are direct products of what goes on, on our inside. But when our praise is acceptable, God comes down to keep us company. Let me see who will block the way against them.
You know your God, when He stretches forth His hand, who can turn it back? Isaiah 14:27, Isaiah 43:13
When you bring God down, everything that clears the way for God, clears the way for you.
-My prayer again is that whatever remains as your portion that is yet to reach your hand, it must come this time.

Acts 16:25-30
Sang praises unto God, not silent praise and the prisoners heard them: so the mockery heightened. And suddenly, God came down – Psalm 99:1, Acts 16:26
Every time God steps in, the unusual happens. The earth trembles. And suddenly, because you can’t lock God in. Can any prison shut God in?
Psalm 24:7-10
-Whatever can’t shut God in, can’t shut you in.
-The few days remaining, God will show up in your affairs. God will show up in your life.

Now, let’s go the right way: If you have been murmuring about anything before, tell God that you are sorry, to forgive you. destruction is hanging around your life.
“Lord, I am sorry. I did it in ignorance. Forgive me. I didn’t know it’s that costly.”
Murmuring is costly, complaining can be devastating.
Tell God you are sorry. Don’t just glide it, “what does that mean?” It means everything. There is no sin God cannot forgive and there is none He will forgive without you asking for His forgiveness. You can’t be qualified for forgiveness without asking for it. Your reasons may look authentic, but the scriptures cannot be broken.
Neither murmur ye, the reasons notwithstanding for the murmur in the wilderness were destroyed of the destroyer – 1 Corinthians 10:10
Numbers 11:11
“I need you God, more than anything. I know no reason is tenable for breaking scriptures. The scriptures cannot be broken, no matter who is involved.”
-Somebody’s story has changed.

All this recounting: “You know I have been serving you, I have been doing this”, you are wasting your time.
You want a change of story? 🎶🎶 I will rejoice and be glad in thee. I will rejoice and be glad. I will lift up my voice to sing praise to the Lord, this is the day He has made. 🎶🎶
🎶🎶 O praise the Lord, O praise the Lord, Immanuel O prasie the Lord. 🎶🎶
🎶🎶 O se ohun tuntun laiye mi ko da owo duro (He has never stopped doing new things in my life). Don’t think He has stopped; He is still working on me. Gbogbo araiye, e w aba mi yo (everyone, join me in celebrating) 🎶🎶
🎶🎶 E gbe ga, e gbe ga o, e ba mi gbe ga ooo (Lift Him up) 🎶🎶
Just be filled with it. You can’t tell what is in it, until you get addicted to it. We have never suffered a setback in 40 years, by the hand of God. There is always room to say thank You Jesus.
You have lost anything, I am the reason why you have not lost everything. You don’t give Me thanks, you start to lose more, if anything ever remains.
The die is cast, the ball is in your court, play as well as you know how to.
Tonight, we are going to praise Him and our praise shall be acceptable and He will change our story.

No case is terminal with God. Even when God announced the terminal case of Hezekiah, He turned it around – Isaiah 38:20. Suddenly God came down and confirmed His Word.
There is no terminal case with God. No case could be more than terminal than the case of Lazarus. That is terminal in the infinity, there was nothing remaining. Even the people that were his own people said, “he is stinking, don’t let us go there. He is not part of this family anymore”. His case is closed – John 11:39
There is no closed case with God. They shut down Paul and Silas, they were brought out the following morning, to be slain but when God stepped in, they became dignified.
The warder, “Sirs, what shall I do to be saved?” – Acts 16:30
They became, ‘Sirs’. Do you know what it means to be ‘Sir’? You have not been to Anglican before, so you may not know. A ‘Sir’ is the epitome of chieftaincy title in the Anglican system. I know some of you were there before, so you are laughing. You work hard towards ‘Sir’, it’s like SAN.
One of my brothers said, “you know I am a Sir now!”
Hehn, I said, “I don’t know.” That’s Sir Wilberforce
-Your shame will be turned to double glory.
-Every devil mocking you will be silenced by the hand of God.

Prayers: Give God thanks and praise for putting the key in your hand, for continuous and unending change of story in your walk with God. Give Him thanks. Give Him glory, there is no one like Him. Thank You Jesus, blessed be your name, take all the praise, take all the glory. In Jesus precious name we have prayed.

Whatever trait you can’t find in Christ that is working in any of us tonight, as you partake of the Communion, they shall be flushed out.

Can you imagine Jesus complaining, murmuring, pointing accusing fingers at God?

You won’t see that again in your life.
If those fellows refused to fetch water, to fil the waterpots with water, they would end that occasion in shame.

But Mary said, “whatever He tells you to do, do it and you will see how he will overturn your shame to glory.”
As they filled the waterpots, they were mocking them. But when the water turned to sweeter wine, than the one they paid for with their money, “Where did you keep this wine?”
John 2:7-9
-The better aspect of your life will start showing from now, as you fill your waterpots with praise. Fill your waterpots with praise. Don’t mind those who are mocking you, God is out to make you, in the name of Jesus.

Altar call.
