EVEN IF THE EXCHANGE RATE IS 1000 NAIRA TO 1 DOLLAR, ALL YOU NEED IS TO GET MORE DOLLARS. AS YOU KEEP PRAISING GOD, IT WILL KEEP INCREASING.
DAILY PRAISE BRINGS DAILY ADDITION. DON’T MIND WHAT THEY TELL YOU IN YOUR OFFICE, DON’T MIND WHAT THE MARKET IS SAYING.
WHEN YOU PRAY, YOU CAN MAKE YOUR ENEMIES FAINT, BUT WHEN YOU PRAISE, YOU MAKE THEM DIE.
GOD DOES NOT GO TO A BATTLE TO WHICH HE IS NOT INVITED AND PRAISE IS THE INVITATION OF GOD INTO YOUR FIGHT.
THROUGH PRAYER, WE CONQUER BUT THROUGH PRAISE, WE BECOME MORE THAN A CONQUEROR.
THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO SWEAT TO WIN AND THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO DON’T SWEAT AT ALL TO WIN.

BISHOP DAVID OYEDEPO WAS ONCE ASKED IF HE HAD PROBLEMS AND HE SAID, “MAYBE IT CAME BUT I DIDN’T KNOW.”

-Bishop David Abioye at CHoP
*When you pray, you enjoy divine backing; but when you praise, you enjoy divine fronting.
*In prayer, you bring God to your back but in praise you put God in your front and that is what makes it for you to watch.
*Watch: put Him front and use your remote control of praise to watch the film of your fight, to watch your enemies scattered.
*When the father appears, apology is tendered to the children.
Heavenly Father, we thank You this morning. What a day, what a joy, what a glory that You have made us see at this Covenant Hour of Prayer, receive our thanks. For these wonderful testimonies of your mighty acts, these are the Lord’s doings, they are marvellous in our eyes. Thank You again for bringing Your Word again to us this morning, our hearts are open to You Lord, charge us this morning, fill us up this morning, refresh us this morning, enlighten and empower us this morning. In Jesus wonderful name.
If you can say, “Thank You Jesus.”
It is my privilege this morning to continue with our exhortation line at this Covenant Hour of Prayer. The caption of the exhortation for the week is:
ENGAGING THE POWER OF THANKSGIVING FOR FULFILLMENT OF PROPHECY
To be thankful is to be powerful. Everyone who learns to offer thanks will always receive in return power.
-As you thanking God again today, power is released to you.
Thanksgiving powers prophecies to perform. Prophecies are meant to perform, but only God can make it happen. Every Word from the Lord is meant to be performed and for that happen, thanksgiving must go ahead.
We have looked at examples of Abraham and that of Hannah. This morning we are looking at the example of Jehoshaphat.
What about Jehoshaphat? 3 great nations came against him, to the extent that he feared – 2 Chronicles 20:3.
The battle was overwhelming, he didn’t know what to do. He told God, “that our eyes are on You.” God said if that is so, (2 Chronicles chapter 20), verse 17, “If your eyes are on Me, then the battle is taken over.”
2 Chronicles 20:17
How do you win without fighting?
That is what we are looking at this morning. “You shall not need to fight in this battle.” No matter how powerful you are in this world, you have people who are more powerful that you are. That is why the scripture says, “It is not by might nor by power” – Zechariah 4:6
You shall not need to fight in this battle – 2 Chronicles 20:17
What do you do? Set yourselves and stand ye still and you shall see the salvation of the Lord with you.
-All the battles you have been fighting are over today.
“You shall not need to fight” – You hand over to the One who is able to fight for you. You shall not need to fight means you shall not sweat again, yet you shall win.
-Somebody is saying Amen already.
Down the line, specifically, Jehoshaphat was told, “set up singers, put them in front” – 2 Chronicles 20:22. What an unconventional way of fighting. This is not written in any war book.
“Set up singers”: And as they began to sing, God began to fight.

You will not fight, He will fight. But for Him to fight, you will start praising Him. God does not go to a battle to which He is not invited and praise is the invitation of God into your fight.
Psalm 84:4 – “Stand still”. What does it mean to stand still? What will they do when they are still? Praising thee.
If you want to win: fight; but if you don’t want to sweat to win: praise. They are two different things.
Watch: If you want to be a conqueror, fight. If you want to be more than a conqueror, praise.
Watch: you either fight to win or watch to win in praise. If you want God to take over, hand over to Him by singing praise to Him.
-That battle you have been going through, as you praise Him again today, you will see your enemies go down.
Praise makes God go up and when He goes up, your opposition goes down. When I am lifted in praise, I will take you up from the midst of the battle and I will fall on the enemies. He is gone up with a shout and when He goes up, He comes down. He went up with their shout, He came down on the walls of Jericho. It collapsed, it disappeared. It didn’t fall, the walls of Jericho didn’t fall, it collapsed – Joshua 6:20
Because if it fell, it would roll by reason of the size. It sank, they were able to run over it. They didn’t need bulldozer to do clearing. They ran over, it fell.

-All your oppositions are falling today.
In prayer, we war. In praise, we watch. We watch God fight our battles. Through prayer, we conquer but through praise, we become more than a conqueror.

That is why there are people who sweat to win and there are people who don’t sweat at all to win. They are ever fresh, you ask them every day, “what is happening? Are you not engaged in this fight?”

Some years back, God’s Servant, Bishop Oyedepo said somebody met him and said, “Brother David, do you have problems at all?” He answered, “maybe they came, I didn’t see them. They came, I didn’t know.”
Ever smiling, ever winning, ever praising, ever triumphant.
-That will be your testimony from now.
You either choose to fight by yourself or let God take over the fight.
-I know somebody here this morning is handing over to God and when God takes over, the battle is over.
Say with me, “My battle is over today.” Are you sure God heard you very well?
When you pray, you enjoy divine backing; but when you praise, you enjoy divine fronting. In prayer, you bring God to your back but in praise you put God in your front and that is what makes it for you to watch. Watch, put Him front and use your remote control of praise to be watching the film of your fight, to be watching your enemies scattered.

That is what happened for David. David would be praising God and God would say, “Is that my son?” From the back, He came to the front and pushed down Goliath. Goliath did not fall, he collapsed. He didn’t go into coma, he died. That is very strange, a giant can’t just die anyhow. He has to faint first, there was no fainting. When you pray, you can make your enemies faint, but when you praise, you make them die.

You make them fall and die.
Judges 1:1-2
Praise determines who wins before it starts. Praise wins before it is being engaged. That means praise has been waiting for you, “just invite me.” God is waiting for you, “Invite Me. My son, you are sweating too much, invite Me.” Praise determines your winning before you go into the fight.
As they began to sing praise, getting back to that story of Jehoshaphat and to sing, God took over the battle and won the victory for them in grand style. Ever praising, ever winning. Even though, we are in our season of thanksgiving and praise, make it your lifestyle. You will be winning without knowing. Praising God always makes you win without knowing. You will just be winning, because praise puts God in front. God is fronting for you when you are praising God Him.
“They began to praise”: God does not begin until you begin to praise. God does not begin to conquer for you until you begin to praise His name. So you start and He starts. Do your portion, He does His portion. Look away from your enemies, start praising God, the road will be clearing for you.
-Today, the road is clearing for you.
As we close, with thanksgiving and praise, we continue to scale new heights even in our Church growth. The Church of Jesus is not only a praying Church but a praising Church. In the first Church, they were praising God and they were getting additions, they were growing – Acts 2:46-47
Daily praise brings daily addition. Apply that to your life, to your business, to your career. Don’t mind what they tell you in your office, don’t mind what the market is saying, don’t mind the rate of currency change. Just be praising God, you don’t have problems with currency change, if it is increased to 1000 (Naira) per dollar, all you need is to get more dollars and it will be on the increase.
Praising God daily. Will you praise God today?
Prayers: Ever praising is ever winning. Ever praising is ever triumphant. Praise Him right now. Praise Him from the depth of your heart. Give Him the glory due to Him this morning. Put God in front of you this morning.
You have been praying to Him, He has been backing you, now praise Him, He will come to the front and when He is in the front, He won’t let you see the battle.
Thank You mighty Father, in Jesus precious name we have prayed.
Many of us who are parents, especially fathers, you know what I am talking about. Somebody is harassing your child, you put the child and say, “stay here. Yes, what are you looking for?” You pull your chest out to the enemy.

“We are very sorry Sir.”

When the father appears, apology is tendered to the children. Children go to fight, when they are fighting outside, the fight is getting tough, looking back at the enemy, running back home. When he enters the house, (breathes a sigh of relief) and Daddy knows that it is fight that drove him to the house.

Father: “Yes, what are you looking for? Whose child are you? Bastard, nonsense, move close here, you will see what I will do for you.”
Enemy’s response: We are very sorry Sir. You will look at the child, “I will catch you next time.”
And the child will say, “I will know what to do when you want to catch me.” I will go back.
Every time the battle is getting tough, you are to a corner, the enemy is taking over: engage in praise. God will be in your front today.
-God will be in your front today.
-Mighty men may be fighting you, invite the Almighty God. They are many mighty men, there is only one Almighty God. He has taken over for you today.
Thank Him for the day. Thank Him for victory and triumph. Praise Him and praise Him!! He is worthy of our praise.
