TOPIC: QUALITIES OF THE BLESSING (PART 2)

Scripture: Genesis 12: 2. And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

Beloved, I welcome you to another Moment of Daily Encounter! Yesterday, we started considering the features/ qualities that describes the blessing and today we shall continue along that line.

What are the qualities of the blessing?

1. The blessing is magnetic
2. It makes one rich
3. It is sorrow free ( for details of this check yesterday’s meditation).

4. The blessing is a preservative agent (Isa. 65:8): Just as we add preservatives to some food to ensure they are preserved for a period before consumption, so also is the blessing. After God created Adam and every other creation, He released the Blessing upon them:

Genesis 1: 28. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Adam was preserved even among wild lives. No lion or tiger could harm him not even snakes or scorpion! Our life on earth can be preserved by the blessing of God. So when you carry the blessing, your life is exempted from calamity and disaster! You are divinely preserved.

However, your being preserved is a function of your vision! You must see it before it will happen. David had this type of vision when he said:

Psalm 91: 5. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; 6. Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. 7. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.

Until you see it, that scripture might not produce results in your life. In this time of high insecurity, you need to see God preserving your life otherwise you will live each day in perpetual fear.

5. The blessing is the cure for rejection (Gen. 27:27): Every life on earth gives characteristic fragrance! Even plants give out characteristic smell! So also are human beings.

Our lives give out smell. Some are acceptance while others rejection! If you are being rejected, it is what is on you! Meaning your life is oozing out a bad smell of rejection and if acceptance, it is a good fragrance or good smell. Isaac understood this and decided to release the blessing upon his son to cure all manner of rejection that may confront him in life!

Beloved, if you are very observant, you will notice that it is not beauty that gives a good husband! I have seen a charming beauty that nobody is saying, “how are you or I want to marry you!” Yet you see ugly girls getting the most handsome husbands! What is the secret?

It lies in what your life fragrance is. This applies to every other aspect of life like marketing, business etc. It is this fragrance that determines the favour you enjoy! So you need the blessing to permanently cure disfavour, bad luck or rejection.

However, you also need to see it for the reality to happen in your life. For the Bible said:

Psalm 102: 13. Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.

Remember this; Heaven is real and hell is real! The decision to follow Jesus ends in glory. If you are yet to follow, begin today by surrendering your heart to Jesus.

Prayer points:

– Father thank you for your word to me today.
– Father help me to see you as my preserver while you release the blessing upon my life in the name of Jesus.

Prophetic Declaration:
– I prophesy the release of the blessing that guarantees divine preservation in this season in the name of Jesus.
– By the force of the blessing, I declare an end to every form of rejection in the name of Jesus.

From your brother Alex
God bless you.
