“In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” I Thessalonians 5:18 [NKJV].
The only advantage the enemy has over a believer in Christ is ignorance, Hosea 4:6, “ForMy people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…” Giving thanks is not a
suggestion; it is a command, that in everything you should give thanks; circumstances notwithstanding.
A lot of people complain and murmur when things don’t align with their expectations; people complain about the economy of their nation; they complain about their leaders; they complain about what they don’t have that they think they should have; they complain virtually about everything, unknowing to them that the more they complain the more they set in motion circumstances that creates more complains.
Gratitude shifts your focus from what you lack to the abundance that is already available. To master gratitude is to master life.
A wise man wrote: “Be thankful that you don’t already have everything you desire, if you did, what would there be to look forward to? Be thankful when you don’t know something for it gives you the opportunity to learn. Be thankful for the difficult times, during those times you grow.
Be thankful for your limitations because they give you opportunities for improvement. Be thankful for each new challenge because it will build your strength and character.
Be thankful for your mistakes they will teach you valuable lessons…GRATITUDE can turn a negative into a positive, find a way to be thankful for your troubles and they can become your blessings.” It’s just the second month of the year, too early to complain.
Dear Heavenly Father; I thank You for the privilege of year 2022, and for the opportunity to access this new month [February]. I have nothing to complain about, but everything to be grateful for. Thank You LORD, in Jesus Name!
KEEP IN MIND
Giving thanks is not a
suggestion; it is a command.
