I CAN NEVER FORGET A PICTURE OF BISHOP DAVID OYEDEPO CAPTIONED THE ‘CONQUEROR’S TRADEMARK’ WHERE HE WAS HOLDING HIS BIBLE, SMILING, LAUGHING AND WALKING.
ACCORDING TO BISHOP DAVID OYEDEPO, PRAISE, THANKSGIVING AND WORSHIP ARE TRIPLETS FROM THE SAME SOURCE. WHAT PRAISE CAN DO, THANKSGIVING CAN DO ALSO.
IT IS NOT EVERY SPEAKING THAT IS PROPHECY. PROPHECY IS GOD SPEAKING AND WHATEVER GOD SPEAKS, ONLY GOD CAN PERFORM.
WE PROVOKE THE MANIFESTATION OF GOD IN THE MIDST OF PRAISE.
YOUR COUNTENANCE CAN CHANGE YOUR CONDITION, BUT NEVER ALLOW YOUR CONDITION CHANGE YOUR COUNTENANCE.
-Pastor David Oyedepo Jr at CHoP
*The moment Hannah’s countenance was no more sad, God remembered her.
*The same applies to Churches. When the joy of harvest is maintained, you will see Churches continue to grow.
*Maintain your joy: secure your testimony.
*Maintain your joy: secure His manifestation.
*You will not miss out on your testimony.
Our Father, in the name of Jesus, we thank You for these awesome testimonies. No one can do these things. This is Your hand at work and for it, we give you all the glory. Accept our thanksgiving. For the answers to all of our prayers, we are grateful and now this morning, our eyes are upon you. Speak to us again. By Your Word, let everyone of us be transformed. We give all the praise and glory to You, in Jesus precious name we have prayed.
Our line of exhortation we began looking at yesterday is captioned:
ENGAGING THE POWER OF THANKSGIVING FOR FULFILLMENT OF PROPHECY
What is prophecy? Prophecy is the declaration of divine intention. What God intends to do, He begins by declaring.
Isaiah 42:9 – God is in the habit of speaking before He performs.
John 14:10 – So with God, He works first through words. Before God will perform, God will speak and that speaking is what we refer to as prophecy.
Lamentations 3:27 – It is not every speaking that is prophecy, it is God speaking that is prophecy. When God speaks, nothing can stop it. It is that, that we refer to as prophecy.
Numbers 23:19 – With God, there is speaking before making and whatever it is that God speaks, He does not adjust. I will like you to understand that there is no prophecy that God has declared that God is not willing to perform. Let’s also take note of this, this morning, that every prophecy that emanates from God can only be executed by God – 1 Kings 8:15
Prophecy is God speaking and whatever God speaks, only God can perform.

It will always take God’s hand to see God’s Word performed. That means therefore, no man has the capacity to bring any Word to pass. Every Word that comes to pass, comes to pass by the hand of God.
Luke 1:45 -If it has come from God, it can only be performed by God.

This is vital and very important. Prophecy is God speaking and whatever God speaks, it will take God to perform. It means therefore that it becomes important not only to receive what God has spoken but to learn what it takes to see God perform on our behalf. The Word of prophecy may come to all but it is performed in the lives of some.

God is highly individualistic in His dealings with us.
Prophetic Word may come forth as declared by God, but those who experience performance are those who position themselves in accordance with God’s conditions.
The question now is what does it take to see what God has spoken in our lives come to pass?
Don’t forget, we said, if it will come to pass, it is because God has performed it, not because you and I have brought it to pass. What will it take to see God perform it in our lives? It is important to understand that there is always an environment that activates God into performance.
Psalm 22:3
When it comes to God, the habitat for God’s performance is praise. Please take note of this, God is Omnipresent, that means that He is everywhere at every time, but God is not manifest everywhere. The manifestation of God or the performance of God is only in an environment conducive for God and the environment conducive for God is the environment of praise.
Psalm 68:24-25
“We have seen thy goings O God”: we have seen Your manifestation O God. Every time you go out, there is air everywhere, but it is at certain seasons you see the air moving and you see the trees responding to the movement of the air. God is everywhere but you can’t see His effect at every time. It is in the midst of praise that we provoke the manifestation of God.
Exodus 15:11
The wonders of God can be found in the midst of praise and thanksgiving. Like God’s servant told us on Sunday, he said, “praise, thanksgiving and worship are triplets of the same source, so whatever one produces, the other also produces.” So if praise is an environment for the manifestation of God, then thanksgiving is an environment for the manifestation of God.
What it means therefore for you and for me is this, if we are going to see the prophetic Word that God has spoken over anyone of us delivered, then an environment and a lifestyle of thanksgiving must be in place.

Psalm 56:4, 10 – I have received the Word and my response to it is praise. I have received the prophecy and my response to it is praise. There are people who think that you wait for performance. No, you praise for performance.

If you are going to see performance of anything God has said, your response to what God has said must be praise.
Exodus 4:30-31
They had not yet experienced their escape but because God had spoken, they gave the response that God required: They bowed down and worshipped.

When God speaks, your response must be praise. That is why you discover that when the devil wants to steal your testimony, the first thing he tries to steal is your joy.
You heard the testimony that was read to us, that individual said, “I was believing God but when the year started nothing happened.” So even at the beginning of the year, satan was whispering doubt into her but she recovered herself and suddenly said, “my expectation refused to be cut off” and God visited her.

If the devil cannot steal your joy, he can’t steal your testimony. That is why those who maintain the disposition of praise, gratitude and worship will always end up with the performance of their testimony.
-For somebody here, I see your testimony being performed.

An example from scriptures is the example of Hannah. Hannah received the prophetic Word that came from Eli. Remember this was a woman that was barren. She came and was pouring out her heart unto God, she cried unto God and suddenly a Word came her way. He said, “Go and the Lord grant thee the petition of thy heart.”

1 Samuel 1:1-17
The Bible tells us the response of Hannah to that prophetic Word – 1 Samuel 1:18-19
“…Her countenance was no more sad”: Had something changed physically? No. She was still in the same household, still under the mockery of the husband’s wife, but yet her countenance was no more sad. Please hear this, your countenance can change your condition, but your condition must never change your countenance.

Your countenance can change your condition, but never allow your condition change your countenance. The moment her countenance was no more sad, what does the Bible say in (1 Samuel chapter 1) verse 19, “and God remembered her.”
God never rejects the praiseful. In fact, take note of this, the Word of God tells us very clearly – John 4:23.

I love this scripture because it tells us that there are people God is looking for and if God is looking for you, He cannot but find you. When a man is praiseful, thankful, full of worship, he comes on the search radar of God and as a result of that, that individual ends up with his testimony.

That is what happened to Hannah. She entered God’s search radar. God remembered her, God located her because praise is magnetic to God and when God arrives, He turns situations around– 1 Samuel 1:19
-Somebody’s story here is changing.

Therefore, this morning, let’s be reminded that as long as we retain the joy that God requires you and I to have, we cannot but experience our testimonies.
As it is for us as individuals, so it is for us as a Church. When the joy of harvest is maintained, you will see Churches continue to grow. That is why you see us experiencing growth as a Commission, joy is never ever sacrificed.

Maintain your joy: secure your testimony.
Maintain your joy: secure performance.
Maintain your joy: secure His manifestation.
-You will not miss out on your testimony.

Prayers: Lord, I receive grace to maintain my joy at every point in time, no condition will change my countenance again, but my countenance will change my condition.
Lord, I receive grace to maintain my joy!!!
-May each one of us receive that grace today, in Jesus precious name.

Take note, when your joy cannot be broken, you will become indestructible. There is a picture I can’t forget of God’s servant that was taken, he was holding his Bible, he was smiling, laughing and walking and they put a caption under the picture, ‘The Conqueror’s trademark’. Joy is the trademark of conquerors.

Do you know even in warfare, when you find men of war fighting, they are usually shouting in joy? The ones that are quiet are the ones they are killing ooo. The ones that are shouting are the ones that are winning.

-From today, you will never be found around the losers again, in the name of the Lord Jesus.

SPEAK TO THE DAY

Make your declarations concerning the day. What you declare concerning today God will deliver. Speak to the day right now.
Thank You mighty God, in Jesus precious name we have prayed.
-This day is declared blessed.
-For you it will be a day of testimonies.
-As your joy goes forth today, your testimony arrives today in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
-All through the day, no defeat. No evil tidings in the name of Jesus Christ.
-Favour and open door become your portion, in Jesus precious name.
So shall it be, in Jesus precious name.
