WE WERE ONCE POSTED TO A NEW PLACE AND THE HANDING OVER PASTOR SAID EVEN IF BISHOP ABIOYE PREACHES HERE NOTHING WILL HAPPEN BUT LATER IN THAT SAME PLACE THERE WAS NO SPACE FOR PEOPLE

AS A YOUNG PASTOR STAYING WITH A SUPERIOR, PASTOR KOMAIYA WILL WAKE UP AND WASH HIS SENIOR PASTOR’S CAR AND ACT AS HIS DRIVER THOUGH IT WAS AGAINST CHURCH ETHICS.

SERVING AT WINNERS CHAPEL HELPED US WHEN WE STARTED OUR MINISTRY IT IS GOOD TO SERVE FAITHFULLY.

AS A YOUNG PASTOR’S WIFE WE HAD A MEETING WITH BISHOP OYEDEPO AND I HAD TO TREK TO THE MEETING WITH PREGNANCY.

DURING THE OFFERING I DROPPED MY CHAIN AS I HAD NO MONEY
AS YOUNG MISSIONARIES SENT TO MALI BY WINNERS CHAPEL, WE COULD STEAL OFFERING AND NOBODY WILL KNOW BUT WE KNEW IT WILL NOT BE WELL WITH US IF WE DID

Pastor Esther Komaiya at Kingdom Wealth Conference (Morning Session)
I knew there was a vision, I knew he was going somewhere, I saw him longing for God.

By the time salary came, we remove tithe, remove all the different pledges and everything the money remaining will be small but with joy, we were doing ministry.

There was a particular day, we had a meeting with Bishop Oyedepo, he drove our senior pastors and the family. He told me to arrange myself and come and when we were coming back, it was my chain I dropped as the offering.

I had to go to Pastor Segun, I was already pregnant, I and my cousin trekked.

My cousin is a doctor now one day I asked him, you remembered that time we were trekking, how were you able to cope?

He said he didn’t see it as anything. He was also a young born again Christian.

That day I trekked and I said poverty is not good. That wasn’t a concern to us, ministry has been a costly thing and a process for me.

To me, ministry is a calling, it is not what you just join. Ministry is a major task, we are serving people and blessing lives. When you see my husband then, you will think there was money in his account, he was zealous for God and serving faithfully.

We were going from one place to the other, some people were even pitying us. We were enjoying ourselves. These things made us, we were trained and wherever they sent us, we go with good faith and the God of the Commission was always with us, it has been from one journey to the other and each time we go, it is always a wonderful time.

As I look back again, before we started our own, working with the other ministry is what has helped us that there was no place we went to that there was no explosion, divine intervention, testimonies, till tomorrow everywhere we went to they will still tell us that we have not forgotten you. The testimonies we enjoy have been amazing. Anywhere we find ourselves, it is good to serve genuinely and with all our hearts.

Ministry is about service, serving others, serving God faithfully. When I look back at those seasons, loyalty and faithfulness have been a very great help.

When you are in another man’s ministry, you know that you must be faithful, being faithful, loyal was a normal thing to us.

Bishop Oyedepo was not there, we could do anything we wanted to do, there were times we were in Mali and other places, if you want to steal money you can steal but there is a God factor that if you steal the money it won’t go well for you.

I remembered I knew from the beginning that there is one hell and I don’t want to go to hell. A lot of things happened from place to place but there was a focus and determination. It was a period of being focused and determined that by all means, the Ministry will work in our hands.

When we were in Ijebu Ode, we were supposed to go to Abeokuta, when they transferred us to Abeokuta, people were already pitying us, they said the person we want to go and meet we will see because most people leave the Ministry from that place, I was like God. When we got to that place, we couldn’t get accommodation on time we had to stay in that person’s house.

Staying in the person’s house was another nightmare, they said the person was a very mean person, he is hard and now you want to stay in the person’s house. We stayed there and under two weeks, the person changed his mind, he loved us. When we got to the place, the day we got there, they took my husband to the bus stop and said this is where you take the cab to the Church.

The Mummy took me to the kitchen and said you can use this side, we were like okay we have to be wise here. When you are working with a superior in the Ministry, there must be wisdom.

Before he wakes up in the morning my husband is already dressed and he will be like sir where is the key of the car and under the Ministry ethics we are not supposed to do that, he will say no, my husband will say I just want to clean the car, he allowed him to do that.

My husband will tell me, Esther your oga will not be waiting for you. My husband will dress up and take him to the Church, that is how he was doing and I saw that in the house, there is a way they love the house so I had to do things the way they loved the house.

What was meant for evil became to us for good and I will make sure I help mummy out. The Bible says and David behaved himself wisely. After we were in that place, they thought we gave him charm, he loved us and would recommend us. Pastor was behaving himself wisely.

A lot of wisdom is important in this generation.

That was how before you knew it, it was a wonderful one and from there promotion.

What has helped us? There has been a sent man over the Commission who has authority over our lives. There is a sent man that God has given to us and we believe so much in the Ministry. We were going to give him everything.

When we got to Mali, as Pastor’s wives, we are supposed to work with them and have half of their salary also, after one or two salaries he said, we can’t pay your fee, just know you have sacrificed that one.

When we got to that place, there was no real English school we could go to, we called a Nigerian brother to help with school, we will get materials from Lagos and try to help the boy.

Our first son one time we don’t know what he was saying because we speak English in the house, maybe when he goes to Church, he will hear people speaking french or the local dialect, Bambara, I don’t know if he was confused, he will be mixing the whole thing until somebody came and told us this is the Bambara, French and English.

I knew that there was a future in it, it was just a price to pay at that time.

Many people would have complained bitterly and said all kinds of things.

This was what God gave us and we were glad that God gave us. When we were there, a whole lot of things happened, each time I see him taking steps, I say it is not today, I have been seeing him take steps since that time. In ministry, I realize that there must be steps of faith.

There was a particular time, the building we met was an uncompleted building, the Pastor handing over to us said there is nothing here, that Bishop Abioye should come and preach and he will see that there is nothing here. When we got there, we said God, you are going to help us. He gave us instructions and we followed.

We took the meetings outside, when we got to the hall, I was afraid, we started cleaning the hall the previous night, the Head Usher was even asking who is going to sit on all those chairs, we just kept doing it.

Pastor K said we should add more chairs, steps of faith. When we filled up the whole thing, adverts had gone.

The program was for 8:00, by 6:30 when we got there, the hall was almost filled up, before we knew there was no space for everyone. It was a major success. Everywhere we go, there was a major success. Testimony from that meeting was amazing. Some people said they waited for three weeks to make sure they were properly healed.
Hearing God also is a great asset in this work, hearing God and obeying God has been a great asset. After that meeting, organizations started to join the Church, you will be amazed at what God did there, till today, people call us from there to say we can never forget you.
Hearing God and doing what God has said, taking steps, listening to what God is saying. There are several evils that God averted if not for this hearing God and obeying Him.
There was a time we went to Sokoto, the day we got to Sokoto was 9/11 day. I opened the Television and I saw a bomb blast I said what happened?

Before we even got to Sokoto, when people were murmuring that we might be going to Sokoto, I said Sokoto? Sokoto is a hard place, not knowing that God was preparing him because the Goliath was coming.

During transfer time we have to pray very well so that God will put you where He has ordained to put you. As there were rumors that we might go to Sokoto.

The boy was playing with the Bible and as he just flipped I saw He led them from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another, he suffered no one to do them wrong.

When we got to Sokoto it was like one of the best places we have been, the results there, the impact was enormous. We did one year there and as we were leaving one lady called us and said you guys are young and very wise. When we look back, we are grateful for the steps we take and we are not there yet at all. These little step by step, we have seen God and grace happen to us, we have seen heaven intervene on our behalf. We saw a lot of things happen in Sokoto, we saw lives change, these are places they say are not growing and they said okay, Pastor K go there
It has been a journey and I can tell you it has been a costly one a whole lot of things happened, God helped us and our path too was intact. A whole lot of things happened but God was faithful all through.
Ministry to me is a call, it is demanding. Yesterday as I was coming, someone wanted to see me, there was an issue he was trying to sort out, I had to beg my husband that please there is an issue here and here, this morning I woke up, someone has sent a text, can you please pray, it is demanding. It is tasking but God will always give you the enablement, the grace for it. There is always a grace for us to enjoy and go through it, you see people and you wonder, how do they go through it?

They are graced for it.

A whole lot of things happened but God was helping us, we had to work with people and the wisdom of God was required, God was helping us. We have to work with people at all times. Someone was asking us one time what car does your pastor drive?

I said it is not the car but the impact he is making.

The Ministry was a whole lot of work and sacrifices here and there but God has been so faithful.
