BISHOP DAVID OYEDEPO HAS SAID IT OVER AND AGAIN, “ANYTHING GOOD HERE IS GOD. IF THERE IS ANYTHING BAD HERE, IT IS ME.”
YOU DON’T PLAY CARELESSLY WITH GOD. NO MATTER WHAT IS GOING ON, GOD IS NOT TO BLAME.
REFUSE TO COMPLAIN OR QUESTION GOD AT ANY POINT.
IT’S NEVER TOO LATE FOR YOUR TESTIMONY, JUST JUDGE GOD FAITHFUL.
-Pastor David Oyedepo Jr at CHoP
*When God’s hand is working, nothing can stop you.
*If your condition cannot change your countenance, your countenance will change your condition.” Maintain a countenance of joy.
*In the natural, the first thing that is affected when you are crying is your sight.
*Also, when you give room to tears, when joy is absent, your spiritual sight is blinded.
Our Father, this morning, we have come with a voice of gratitude, appreciating and celebrating You for all that You have done. We give You all the praise and all the glory. The testimonies we have heard are the evidences of Your mighty presence in our midst and for it we give You the praise. We say thank You for answering our prayers and again this morning our eyes are on You. We ask that You will speak to us again, by Your Word let everyone of our lives be changed. We give all the praise and all the glory to You, in Jesus precious name we have prayed.
Our line of exhortations all through this week has been:
ENGAGING THE POWER OF JOY AND REJOICING.
God’s Word is abundantly clear that the Kingdom of God is a Kingdom of mysteries – Mark 4:11
The Kingdom of God is a Kingdom of mysteries and the mysteries of God are simply hidden secrets of God. These secrets of God though hidden are described as simple – 2 Corinthians 11:3
So, the Kingdom of God is a Kingdom of mysteries, the mysteries of God are hidden secrets and those hidden secrets are incredibly simple. One of those secrets of the Kingdom is this secret of joy and rejoicing. We have discovered in the course of this week that joy is a commandment.
Philippians 4:4, 1 John 5:3.
The commandments of God are not grievous. Then if it is not grievous, it is to our benefits. There is no commandment of God that is to the benefit of God. Please hear this and hear it very well this morning, God has nothing to gain from man.
Man has everything to gain from God. Then if it is not to the benefit of God, then we must begin to examine the benefits to man. If joy and rejoicing is God’s commandment for man, then what are the benefits of joy and rejoicing to man?
This morning, we are going to look at two of those benefits that answer to us as you and I engage this force of joy and rejoicing.
- We must understand that when God stretches forth His hand to work, no man can turn it back.
Isaiah 14:27, Isaiah 43:13
There is no human resistance that can stop the operation of the hand of God.
There is no demonic orchestration that can stop the operation of the hand of God.
Isaiah 45:9 – You can’t fight against the operation of God and succeed.
You can’t confront the movement of God and remain. The scripture tells us very clearly, it says, “that a time is coming when all things shall be shaken, but you have a Kingdom which cannot be moved.” The Kingdom of God is an unshakable Kingdom. The Kingdom of God is an irresistible Kingdom. Nothing can successfully confront the
advancement of God’s course.
This is vital and important for everyone of us to understand. We understand that the hand of God is activated by joy, rejoicing and praise of man.
Psalm 48:10 – when thy praise now goes to the ends of the earth, thy right hand which is full of righteousness is then manifested. If you are going to see the right hand of God and the Bible tells us the right hand of God is the hand of power, if you are going to see the right hand of God, then the praise of your life is a vital necessity.
Remember, God does not permit praise without joy – James 5:13
According to God’s Word, it means therefore, that without the catalyst of joy, the hand of God, that right hand of power is not seen in manifestation. So joy causes the right hand of God to work on your behalf. It causes the hand of God to operate on your behalf.
-I pray for each one of us this morning, that by the joy of the Lord that shall be rekindled in your life again, God’s hand will go to work on your behalf.
When God’s hand is working, nothing can stop you.
-From this season onwards, nothing will be able to stop you.
- We discover that it takes joy and rejoicing to possess our possessions
Isaiah 12:3 – Your salvation is loaded with heavenly deposits.
Ephesians 1:3 – According to God’s Word, there are packages of unique heavenly inheritances available for the Redeemed. But the Bible says they are packaged within what He calls the well of salvation.
What are some of the blessings that are loaded therein?
Every one redeemed child of God has an inheritance with God.
Acts 26:18 – everyone that turns from darkness to light, from the power of satan to God, has an inheritance with God
The question is, How can I gain access to it? How can I tap into these blessings that are within the well of salvation that God has given to me?
Isaiah 12:3 – “with joy you will draw waters…” It takes joy to tap into the deposits of the well of salvation. To be joyless is to lose out on your inheritance. When joy goes out, your inheritance is lost out. It takes joy to draw on your inheritance.
Why is that so? Because the key that opens the door to every man’s inheritance is found in the Word of God – Acts 20:32
The inheritance is made available at salvation, but then the inheritance is given to you by revelation. For revelation to be a reality in any man’s life, joy is a necessity.
If you are going to see well, you must keep your joy intact. You will agree with me in the natural, the moment tears begin to flow, the first thing that is affected is your sight. You don’t see well through tears. The same thing in the realm of the spirit, where joy is absent and tears are given room, you discover that your spiritual sight is blinded. If you are going to see the inheritance that God has in store for you, then you and I must maintain our joy.
That is why in nothing at all should you allow yourself to be joyless. At every point in time, hold fast to your joy. Maintain it at all cost.
That’s why Paul said, “rejoice in the Lord always.” It doesn’t matter what is happening, keep rejoicing!
1 Thessalonians – 5:18
It doesn’t matter what is going on, keep celebrating.
It doesn’t matter what is contrary to what you desire, keep rejoicing.
“And again, I say to you, rejoice” – Philippians 4:4
Your joy must be maintained at all cost. Your joy must not be up for negotiation. I have said before, “if your condition cannot change your countenance, your countenance will change your condition.” Maintain a countenance of joy. At every point in time, keep rejoicing and as you do so, you will see your possessions being delivered into your hands.
As we conclude this morning, we must take note of the following:
That we must beware of questioning God because God is never to blame, no matter what!
Be careful!! You don’t play carelessly with God. Please hear this and hear it very well this morning, no matter what is going on, God is not to blame. God is not to blame!
John the Baptist lost his head because of his offence. He thought God was to blame, “how can I be in prison? How can I be locked up? How can I be harassed like this?” Then he sent a word to Jesus, “are you the One or should we look for another?”
There is no man, no matter who you are that can harden his heart against God and prosper.
Therefore, I charge you, no matter what your condition may be, be cautious: never question God! At any point in time, never question God.
I have heard God’s servant say over and again, he said, “anything good here is God. If there is anything bad here, it is me.” Understand that whatever is good is what comes from God – James 1:17
So never question God
-I pray this morning, for each one of us, as the Word of the Lord that we have received begins to work in our lives, we shall begin to experience the hand of God in unusual dimensions.
Prayers: Give God thanks. For every good thing in your life, give Him thanks. They said concerning Him, “You have done all things well.” There is nothing You have not done well. You have done all things well.
Concerning me, “You have done all things well.” Give thanks to Him. Give glory to Him, give honour to Him. Give adoration to Him. Celebrate Him from the depth of your heart. You have done all things well.
Concerning my life: all things well!
Concerning my family: all things well
Will you give glory to Him for all things that He has done well in your life, in your family, in your business, in your career, in your Ministry. All things! You have done all things well. There is no area where You are found wanting. There is no area. He said, concerning Sarah that she judged Him faithful. He is a faithful God, He is a good God, He is a glorious Father, He is a wonderful Father. Appreciate Him this morning.
Are you thanking Him? Let your voice of thanksgiving be lifted on high this morning. Father, thank You. Blessed be Your holy name. in Jesus precious name we have prayed.
As you have given thanks to Him this morning, His hand will be manifested on your behalf in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Never forget, refuse to ever, at any point in time, complain or question God. Remember Sarah, she judged Him faithful. No matter what is happening, judge Him faithful. He is a good God. Sarah was barren at the age of 90 and still judged God faithful and her story was turned around.
It’s never too late for your testimony, just judge God faithful.
-You will see His hand at work on your behalf.
SPEAK TO THE DAY
Speak to the day right now. Make your declarations concerning the day, whatever you declare, God is bound to deliver. As you speak in faith, He will manifest on your behalf. Right now declare, right now decree, right now speak forth into the day. Speak forth and make your declarations.
Thank You Father, in Jesus precious name we have prayed.
-Now this day is declared blessed.
-It is the last working day of this week, therefore whatever is yet to work for you shall be delivered today.
-It will be for you a day of perfected testimonies, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
So shall it be, in Jesus precious name. it is done.
