TIME IS ONE OF THE THINGS WE WANT MOST BUT AT THE SAME TIME, IT IS ONE OF THE THINGS WE WASTE MOST.
THERE IS A SPIRITUAL BATTLE OVER OUR TIME AND WE NEED TO UNDERSTAND THIS SPIRITUAL DIMENSION OF HOW WE HANDLE TIME.
THE ENEMY WANTS TO BE ABLE TO STEAL OUR TIME.
YOU CANNOT HAVE TIME FOR GOD WITHOUT MAKING STRANGE MARKS ON THE EARTH.
IN OUR DAYS, THE WALLS NEED TO BE BUILT AGAIN. THE GOD OF HEAVEN IS RAISING NEW GENERATION NEHEMIAHS.
THERE ARE CERTAIN GOVERNORS UNDER THE SOUND OF MY VOICE RIGHT NOW.
YOURS MAY NOT BE IN POLITICS BUT GOD WILL MAKE YOUR STAR TO RISE:
-Pastor (Mrs) Faith Oyedepo at CHoP
Father, this morning, we thank You again for answered prayers: take all the praise. Thank You for all these amazing testimonies; we decree and declare they shall be permanent. This morning again Lord, speak to us by Your Word. Transform our lives, give us understanding and let Your name be glorified and we thank You for it, in Jesus mighty name, we have prayed.

All through this week in our Covenant Hour of Prayer, our subject of consideration is titled:
ONE CANNOT HAVE A HEART FOR GOD AND NOT HAVE TIME FOR HIM
One of the greatest treasures that God has given unto man on earth is time.
Say with me, “time!!”
Matthew 6:21 – Underline those 2 words: heart and treasure.
The same thing is repeated verbatim in Luke chapter 12 verse 34
Luke 12:34
Therefore, if time is our of the greatest treasure given unto man here on earth, then it becomes very, very important for us to ensure that the way we handle our time becomes very serious for us.
Say again with me, “Time.”

Because wherever your time goes there is exactly where your life will go. Wherever you spend your time clearly shows what is important to you in life.

Of course, we know that whatever is called a treasure is something that is very, very special to you. You take care of it, you keep it, you ensure it is not lost. Why? Because it is treasurable to you. It is very, very important to you.

We can always therefore examine our lives as individuals: take a look at a day of your life
-What and what have I spent most of my time today on? That simply gives you the answer to what is most important to you.
Why? Because that is where you are spending your time.
And so as believers, especially this end time, it is very crucial for us to believe God for grace, for great grace to manage time well.
Ephesians 5:16
Very clearly, therefore, there is a spiritual battle over our time and we need to understand this spiritual dimension of how we handle time.
-There is a battle over our time, the enemy wants to be able to steal our time but from this moment he shall never succeed any longer in Jesus name.
Colossians 4:5 – “…redeeming the time.”
To redeem simply means to exchange something for something that is valuable.
To redeem simply means to make worthy, to make it good, to exchange it for something of value. In other words, you and I are trading our time for one thing or another but is it something that is worthy, valuable?
People talk for example about hard currency in life. But I have come to discover that the hardest currency available to man on earth today is our time.
-Your time, the enemy shall not be able to steal any longer in Jesus name.
This morning, we look at the example of the man called Nehemiah.
We are all familiar with the story of Nehemiah.
Nehemiah 1
In verse 1 (Nehemiah chapter 1), the Bible makes it very clear he was in the palace. He was not on the streets, he was not in the place of suffering. He was in a place of enjoyment, so to say, in the world naturally; he was in the palace.
But then going on down the line in verse 2 (Nehemiah chapter 1), he said some of the people came and then he began to ask them about the condition of the things in Jerusalem. He was the one who took a step to ask them and when he discovered the state, he was not comfortable. The time he could have been spending in the palace, just sitting down, eating and drinking and whiling away time, he decided to go to God in prayer.
You can read all the way down, he said: he prayed, he fasted, he sat down before the Lord and began to make enquiries – Nehemiah 1:4
Spending his time for the things of the Kingdom. At the end of the day, the walls were successfully built because there was a man who took his time to stand for the things of the Kingdom – Nehemiah 4:6
Now in our days, the walls need to be built again.

The God of Heaven is raising new generation Nehemiah’s’
-May you be found to be one of them. Amen
Nehemiah 2:9
Look at the kind of people that were sent to go with him. He took steps, he went ahead, he mobilized the people and the job was done. As Nehemiah did this, God was also building his destiny.

-This end time and especially in the year we are in right now, a year that has been declared, “we are more than a conqueror”, the vision has been declared, the grace of God is already made available; we just went through the 21 days of prayer and fasting and each and everyone of us has been empowered; this power that God has given to us shall not be in vain.
Look at the testimony we heard this morning. Both testimonies are great pointers to what God can do with a man, with a woman who decides to make his or her time available for God.
The first testifier: spinal injury healed. This is something that naturally speaking could have been said to be impossible but she said she went out, sharing fliers, even though the knees were shaking. She took time to obey the commandment of God and at the end of the day, God stepped in to her situation.
-This season is your own season.
-You and I have been listening to and hearing the testimonies of others, others will begin to hear our own. Amen.
-They will not only hear our own, God will turn you and I to testimonials. He will turn us to living proofs.

Please understand, we need a heart for God to make the most of our journey on this earth.

People of God, please understand, life is a journey.
A journey simply means you are moving from one location to another. Where you are is not your destination. This world is not your destination. We are on a trip. We have a destination in view, we all shall arrive safely in Jesus name.
Psalm 1:1-3
Psalm 1:2 –“…doth he meditate day and night.”
Day and night talks about time.
He meditates in the law of the Lord: he spends his time in the things of the Kingdom. No wonder, such a man is called blessed.
-You are that person.
Very importantly, therefore, we must believe God to begin to take full advantage of every moment of our day. Today for example is the 2nd day of February 2022. Once it passes, it is gone and none of us can ever recall it back again. Therefore, every opportunity we have, let’s make sure we invest it in the matters of the Kingdom.
Someone has said, very, very importantly, that time is one of the things we want most but at the same time, it is one of the things we waste most.
-None of us shall be termed a time waster any longer.
You cannot have time for God without making strange marks on the earth.
-It is your time to begin to make strange marks.
Nehemiah 4:6 – The wall was built, mission accomplished but at the end of the day, in (Nehemiah) chapter 5 verse 14, what happened to Nehemiah who mobilized the people of God? He became a Governor.
-There are certain Governors under the sound of my voice right now. Amen.
-Your place shall not be lost in Jesus name.
Yours may not be in politics but God will make your star to rise:
-You will stand out.
-You will shine in life and you shall fulfill destiny.
Therefore, let’s begin to take steps in practical terms, in prayers, in sharing the Word, in helping others to grow in the faith.
Look at the 2nd testifier, he said, “he was paying transportation fare and helping new converts and at the end of the day, God settled him in a strange manner.”
-You shall be settled.
-Welcome, therefore, to your season of supernatural settlement.
-As we keep making time for God, God will keep establishing our destinies and together we shall get there.
Prayers: Receive grace from Him to be able to keep making time for God and the interest of His Kingdom every blessed day; taking advantage of every moment; redeeming the time by the grace of God; winning the war and the battle over our time to the glory of His name.
Let God hear you right now as you speak to Him. Receive grace to get this done.
