Few months ago, I meet Daddy Ademuyiwa through my Father-inlaw, both Senior Ministers.
He took me through deep theology lesson you can never find in any Bible School.
He told me to focus on the spiritual well being of the sheep that once they are fed right, they pray right, they grow right and excel in all fields of life.
He said we young ministers are so concerned about who knows us but never bother if God knows us.
He said no man of God is poor except the one who doesn’t serve YHWH, that God doesn’t overlook faithfulness even if it’s just small. He blesses us the more, we may not know until we begin to experience the physical side of it.
For more than 40yrs in the ministry, the Lord have helped him to raise people who had themselves raised others as the Lord pleases.
Over 60mins he spoke to me about almost everything that help a young minister excel at God’s pace, he personally warned me of joining the bandwagon of showmen in the ministry.
He said God will not ask me the numbers of Praise night we conducted, business meeting we hold, nor reward me for the millionaire in our church but the reward is for the souls won to the kingdom, nurtured to raise others.
He said something that have refused to leave me, ‘let the Holy Spirit humble you, in humility, you are better and greater in the sight of God even if no one knows you. Less than 100members doesn’t make anyone less anointed, stay humbled’.
After this he personally drove me to the motor park to return to Lagos.
If you want to last long doing the will of God never despise the wisdom of these fathers.
I am blessed with many of them.
