Text: Deuteronomy 28:1-13

Memory Verse: “And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: 3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.” (Genesis 12:2-3)

Many professed believers in Christ today still manifest emptiness and devoid of faith and assurance in spite of everything God has done for us. God made a covenant with Abraham in which He promised to bless him. God went ahead to fulfill that promise. He said through Abraham, all the families of the earth shall be blessed. So, as believers in Christ, we have become part of God’s covenant through Abraham and being perfected today in our lives through the blood of Jesus Christ that was shed on the cross of Calvary. This is supposed to provide the much needed inspiration to obtain our breakthrough and possess our possessions.

Unfortunately today, many people do not manifest faith in the promises of
God. Our memory verse urges us to hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord your God to observe and to do all His commandments and then blessings will follow. That scripture wants us to be inspired to obey the commandments of God as the prerequisite for breakthrough and possess your possessions. Once we obey, we become reconnected to Abraham’s blessings through Jesus Christ.

What is it that you are going through in your life today as a believer in Christ? : Let this assurance be in you that you are a seed of Abraham and therefore: entitled to all God’s covenant promises through him. You are not supposed to give up hope. If you give up or stop praying, it means you no longer trust God.You can be sure that when the time comes, God will intervene. God has started the good work of salvation in your life. Therefore, you can be rest assured that He that has started a good work, will finish it in the end. There is nothing to hard or difficult for Him to do.

Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:

1. Any spirit of laxity and disobedience working in my life; be uprooted, in Jesus name.

2. I pray for grace and power to be willing and obedient to serve the Lord in spirit and in truth, in Jesus name.

3.Any spirit of complacency and lukewarm attitude targeting to derail our G .O and Mommy in the Lord’s march to heaven; be bundled out of the way, in Jesus name.
