I visited a colleague while ministering in a state, I got there in the midst of a program.
His father was the one ministering as I entered, he called me to bless God’s people before rounding up.
As I wanted to collect the microphone, I saw him soaked with his own blood.
The microphone was covered by his blood, I took it and bless the congregation.
I told my colleague if I can ask few questions from his father, he went in and got permission.
This man is wounded and hurt, he was bleeding spiritually, the church didn’t know.
They are only concerned with their own life, they hardly notice, they had even lined up after the meeting for counseling and another round of prayers.
He was ministering in spiritual pain.
When I sat before him, I appreciated him for the privilege and access granted to me.
I spoke about the glowing things I have heard about him then gave him the little seed with me.
Before then his eyes was grin, I saw light and hope rejigged in him.
He prayed for me, then he said I have never being appreciated by anyone like this before; they only come here and tell me about their problems.
Some of them left the church as soon as they got answers.
By the time he finished talking to me, my eyes were covered with tears.
Most of us don’t appreciate those who labour over us, we instead look for their errors or mistakes and capitalize on it to crucify them.
I am afraid when I see the way most people treat people who gave their all to nurture them.
This is what stroke me the most, he said one of his pastors left the church with most members after sharing a vision with them.
He said he told them that his hands are full of blood, that he is evil.
I sigh because that’s the same thing I saw but I understand what it means because of the prophetic anointing on me.
It was his own blood, he had not being happy due to hurt and pains from unchristian acts of the people around him.
He had been wounded but the people around him didn’t know, they instead wanted solutions to their life without paying attention to the vessel.
He had been falsely accused by those who should have supported him.
If the Lord have not help me to understand some depth in the prophetic office I would have thought the same.
I told my colleague to teach the church for 3months on honouring the vessel through which God has been blessing them.
Some of us need to repent, stop assuming things, don’t just behave, behave well.
I have seen people who just pick on their leaders and tear down their work and labour for that singular acts.
Apostle Paul admonished us to give double honour to those who labour over us in word and in doctrine.
May we receive wisdom to do the will of God instead of error hunting.
Being a small boy in ministry I have seen alot that makes me fear the way some of us handle those who have gone ahead of us.
I have heard some dangerous stuff from some young folks that made me hide my head, imagine someone saying if those men had planned their lives well they would have been better.
There are those who curse their fathers and do not bless their mothers; those who are pure in their own eyes and yet are not cleansed of their filth;
those whose eyes are ever so haughty, whose glances are so disdainful; those whose teeth are swords and whose jaws are set with knives to devour the poor from the earth and the needy from among mankind.
A T Joel.
