The football world is always hooked with transfer stories ranging from high-profile players to high-profile clubs. Since the 2020-21 season is now behind us, it is a perfect time for players to be on the move.

Olympiacos Want Onyekuru
Greek giants Olympiacos are interested in Super Eagles winger Henry Onyekuru.
The Galatasaray star, on loan from Monaco, is the subject of a transfer war among top sides in Europe. Monaco are ready to cash in on Onyekuru and have placed a €4.3m price tag on the versatile player.
Gala are leading the race for a permanent transfer but Fatih Terim’s side are still in the negotiating space, meaning Olympiacos could swoop in.
‘No Contract Extension for Osimhen’
Napoli star Victor Osimhen’s agemnt, has denied news circulating in the media that his client has signed a new deal with the Partenopei.
Osimhen moved to Italy last summer in a club-record deal on the back of a five-year contract set to expire on June 30, 2025. Andrea D’Amico, his agent, has now denied any report linking the former Lille star to a new deal.
Man United Prepare £39M Deal for Serie A Defender of the Season
Manchester United are said to prepare a deal worth £39m for Atalanta defender, Cristian Romero.
The Italian press has reported that Atalanta are seeking to make Romero’s loan deal from parent club Juventus, permanent before cashing in on his services.
The Argentine defender helped Atalanta to third place in the Serie A in the 2020-21 season and picked up the league’s best defender award. He is now seen by United as a long-term partner for club captain Harry Maguire in the heart of the Red Devils’ defence.
Wijnaldum Set for PSG Not Barca
Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum could snub Barcelona for Paris Saint-Germain as he looks to exit Anfield.
The 30-year old has decided to call time on his Liverpool career and was on the verge of joining Ronald Koeman’s side ahead of the 2021-22 season. It has now been reported that the Netherlands star could be tempted by French giants PSG, who have offered a more lucrative deal than their Spanish counterparts.
Wijnaldum is currently on international duty with Netherlands as they prepare for the Euros, so any move regarding his future will be made after the tournament.
Mbappe Not for Sale
PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has refuted claims that star player Kylian Mbappe will be sold or allowed to leave on a free.
Mbappe has been the subject of a transfer over the years with Real Madrid keen on his services. But Al-Khelaifi is adamant that the World Cup winner will remain in Paris and has told L’Equipe that a contract extension is imminent.
Mbappe is no stranger to transfer rumours but all attention wil be turned towards the Euros with France for now.
Arsenal Want Odegaard on a Permanent Deal
Arsenal are interested in keeping Martin Odegaard for a longer spell at the Emirates.
Mikel Arteta is interested in keeping the Norwegian star after missing out on Emi Buendia, who secured a move to Aston Villa from Norwich City last week.
The Gunners now see Odegaard as the best option to fill the no.10 role that is sorely needed at the club and will move to keep him permanently from parent club Real Madrid.
