What Wisdom Is This (Mathew 13:54)

What is wisdom?

Wisdom has different meanings;

Wisdom according to the Dictionary is an element of personal character that enables one to distinguish the wise from the unwise.

The ability to apply relevant knowledge in an insightful way, especially to diff4rent situations from that in which the knowledge was gained.

But to the glory of God today I will be sharing with you the scriptural standard of wisdom.

WISDOM is laying hold on the ways of God; it is not mental exertion, it is the uncovering of God’s approach to every issue of life. It is knowing from God’s word which way to go and how to handle situations to make them produce desired results. Wisdom is knowing how to make it in life.

My spiritual father said that Wisdom is knowing what to do and doing it, know where to go and going there and knowing what to say and saying it.

According to the Bible we are made to understand that we have different types of wisdom; James 3:15-17.

  • The Earthly Wisdom.
  • The Devilish Wisdom.
  • The Wisdom from Above ( Divine Wisdom)

The Earthly Wisdom centers on the senses (common sense).

The Devilish Wisdom is the type of wisdom that operates in the occult realm.

Divine Wisdom is the wisdom given by God, from above.

I will like to concentrate on the Divine Wisdom (wisdom from above).

“The wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle
and easy to be interested, full of mercy and good fruits, without
Partiality, and without hypocrisy.” James 3:17.

Divine Wisdom is above all kinds of wisdom because it is the wisdom from Above and according to John 3:31 it says “He that Cometh from above all is above all…”

What is Divine Wisdom?

Divine wisdom is Holy Ghost inspired insight. Genesis 41:15-16, Genesis 38-44. It is also the applied Knowledge of the truth. Luke 8:5-8.

This Wisdom can only be accessible by inspiration. Job 32:7-8, 2 Timothy 2:7. But even though it can be accessible by inspiration, there is where to start from because you can’t just jump into wisdom and that leads us to THE BEGINNING OF WISDOM.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do His commandments: His praise endureth for ever. Psalm111:10.

There is where to begin in the journey for wisdom. There is what you register with in the school of wisdom. You cannot ignore it and expect to triumph in life. Happy is any man that has this master key, because he has automatic access to a life of unrivaled wisdom. What is this important key? The fear of the Lord!

In Genesis 41, Joseph was lifted by wisdom to a position of authority that he became a ruler in the land of Egypt. Genesis 41:39-41.

He enrolled to the school of wisdom by possessing the fear of the Lord. He said “…how then can I do this great wickedness and sin against God?”  (Genesis 39:9)He also said “…For I fear God” (Genesis 42:18)
Divine wisdom will always demand divine sanctity.

Also in the life of Daniel, Daniel arrived on the scene and refused to defile himself with the kings meat, therefore, God lifted him.

God can lift any man on this Earth but all He requires is purity. Purity is what gives you access to the instruction of wisdom and leads to your distinction on the earth.

What man is he that feareth the Lord? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose.

The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him; and he will show them his covenant. Psalm25:12, 14.

When Jesus was on earth, the Bible said that men marveled at His wisdom, and asked, “What wisdom is this?” why because no matter how seemingly impossible the situation, He always knew what to do! But this same Jesus we are told knew no sin. The devil came to Him and did not have anything in Him.

Jesus fulfilled his primary condition necessary to register in the school of wisdom: the fear of the Lord. And as long as He possessed it, He was a man in charge!

Sin is a sinker; it can sink the destiny of any man. Friends you have a glorious and enviable destiny and you can’t afford to sink it with sin. Sin is also a destroyer; you cannot toy with it and not be destroyed.

T L Osborn said “when you sin, something in you dies”. That describes Adam. A man that single handedly named all the animals; finally used leaves to as clothes to cover his nakedness. Leaves! That was strange, because it was a well known fact that Adam was walking in the same mental realm as God. He had the mind of God. Yet, the moment he sinned his mined became darkened and corrupted and he could no longer function at its original frequency. What a tragedy!

Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die. (Ezekiel 18:4)

This Wisdom Is Hidden.

But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.  (1 Corinthians 2:7-8)

God’s wisdom is not open, it is hidden. It has to be uncovered. Except we gain access into ine hidden wisdom, we cannot have access to glory which we are destined for. It is only on the ticket of God’s wisdom working inside us that will make us shine.

We are product of wonder. We are here to manifest such wonders and wisdom is required for us to manifest in such realm. Not the wisdom of man but the wisdom of God;

That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.  (1 Corinthians 2:5)

God wisdom is packed in mysteries. Common sense can’t locate it

But as it is written, eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. (1 Corinthians 2:9)

This wisdom is hidden, yes! But I am glad to let you know that:

“…unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all this things are done in parables:  (Mark 4:11)

The wisdom of God is packaged in His book called the Bible. A revelation of any truth there in when applied, makes you a rock that cannot be moved (psalm 125:1), therefore we must continue to ask for the revelation of God’s word because it makes us wise.
But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 1 Corinthians 2:10.

The wisdom of man finds expression in his words. The word of God is the wisdom of God. So God’s word forms the bases for His wisdom in any life. Once you increase the base, wisdom increases and results increase. Whatever increases your word base, increases your wisdom level.

The bible is the direct word of God. For all scripture- from Genesis to Revelation-is given by the inspiration of the Almighty.

2 Peter 1:20 says that “no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.” None can be credited to the writers.

God’s wisdom has been packaged and without it, we cannot experience the promised glory. As we have already established by the scriptures, this wisdom is hidden and ordained by God, before the world began, unto our glory.

However, this wisdom will only be located by those who love God.

Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for THEM THAT LOVE HIM. (1 Corinthians 2:9)

Anybody who desire who desires to flow in Supernatural Wisdom must come to a point of identification with the source of the flow.

God’s wisdom has no bearing with education or with your background. It is rooted in revelation.

God’s wisdom will only continue to flow as you acknowledge the source, identify with it and remain grateful to it.

The wisdom of God is not found in the land of the living. Money cannot buy it. It only comes by revelation and the revealer is the source.

“Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God forever and ever: for wisdom and might are His.” Daniel 2:20.

The application of knowledge is what is called wisdom. Until a man amasses adequate knowledge, there will be nothing for him to use, so he will never display wisdom.

If you are not a lover of knowledge, you will never be enlisted in this End-Time army, because it is an army of wise soldiers, an army of people of manifold wisdom.

Kenneth Hagin has this to say: “If there is anything I hear from anywhere and don’t understand, I burn the midnight candle, until I locate an answer to it.” He has been doing this for the past sixty-one years, and his ministry has kept on expanding, with stability, honor and dignity.

Proverbs 24: 13-14 says:

But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.

Great men are not always wise: neither do they aged understand judgement.

What is honey? The knowledge of wisdom! What is wisdom? Jesus! He is the wisdom and the power of God – according to 1 Corinthians 1:24.

If you are grateful, you will be joyful. And if you are joyful, you will be praiseful. And if you are praiseful, you will enjoy inspiration. If you have inspiration, you will encounter revelations. And if you have revelations and walk in them, you will walk in wisdom and consequently, you will experience a revolution!

It all begins with been grateful! The depth of your gratitude determines the height if your altitude.

Wisdom comes by inspiration and what inspiration does is to deliver revelations to you so its important to know how we can contact inspiration.

The wisdom of God is available to the joyful.

Ye shall have a song, as in the night when a holy solemnity is kept; and gladness of the heart as when one goeth with a pipe to come into the mountain of the lord, to the mighty one of Israel. Isaiah 30:29.

Amongst many others I know that this will help you to have a winning wisdom.

God bless you and I pray that as you begin your quest for wisdom, the kind of wisdom that will make the world to marvel just like they marveled at Jesus will be impacted upon you in Jesus Name.
